Establishment of an international PPP division for the largest South Korean construction group
SAMSUNG C&T Corp. consists of the Engineering & Construction Group and the Trading & Investment Group. SAMSUNG C&T has built the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur and Taipei 101 in Taiwan, among others. In the course of an internationalization program launched in 2013 to expand PPP business activities in the area of international infrastructure projects (with a focus on healthcare and aviation), Jürgen Kaiser was brought to SAMSUNG in Seoul in the role of Deputy General Manager together with other international experts and executives.

- Negotiation and win of SAMSUNG's first international hospital PPP contract in Europe (project volume approx. $ 600 million)
- Samsung Health Insurance as equity investor and EIB, EBRD, K-sure, KEXIM and MIGA (World Bank Group) as debt investors as well as risk insurers were won for the project
